Overview
The updated Time Entries page is designed to integrate M365 calendar data directly into LeanLaw and address long-standing usability feedback. The changes improve visibility, streamline entry, and add flexibility for power users. A user-managed toggle is available until the end of October to switch between the old and new experiences. The toggle only affects your view, not your firm’s.
Key Changes
Filters and Layout
Filters now appear at the top, modeled after the Billing page, so you can see your filters and enter time simultaneously.
Time entry creation panel is now on the right side of the page.
You can hide/show the insights widget and filters to maximize workspace.
Coming Soon: Option to expand the time entry modal to the center of the screen for more room when writing long descriptions.
M365 Calendar Integration
Connect your M365 account to display calendar events on the left side.
Calendar events can be converted into time entries directly to help you capture more time. View support article for connection steps.
New Entry Creation Capabilities
Add Clients, Matters, and (coming soon) Fixed Fees within the time entry creation flow.

Roles and permissions of your users can be reviewed in Settings. Pro and Elite subscriptions can customize the permissions for each role. View support article.

Transition Details
You control the switch between the old and new Time Entries page until the end of October, 2025 to ensure comfort with the new experience.
After October, all users will automatically be transitioned to the new experience.
