LeanLaw is excited to announce an update to our trust request functionality specifically designed for Lean Align firms. This change aims to streamline processes and enhance user experience by transitioning to LeanLaw’s email service, Lean Align, for trust request communications. Understanding the Update

Previously, trust requests were sent using Confido's email service. With the new update, emails will now be dispatched through LeanLaw's own service. This change means trust requests will feature your firm's logo, coming from a LeanLaw domain, while still maintaining your firm's reply-to email address for any client queries.

Can I track my trust requests sent before February 27 in the "Track Sent Emails" page?

No, trust requests sent before February 27 were dispatched using Confido's email service and cannot be tracked in LeanLaw's "Track Sent Emails" page. This functionality applies only to requests sent after the update.

Will payments on trust requests sent before February 27 use the undeposited funds account if I have it configured?

Payments on trust requests sent before February 27 will not utilize the undeposited funds account, regardless of its configuration. Only requests sent after the update will respect your undeposited funds settings, offering a streamlined way to manage your deposits.

At this time, configuring your trust request template or tracking trust request emails in the Track Sent Emails page requires enabling the invoice email functionality in LeanLaw. We're constantly working on enhancements, but currently, this integration is necessary for accessing the new features.
