How User Management Fits Together
User management in LeanLaw is built around a few key concepts:
Users – Individuals with access to your system
Roles & Permissions – What users can see and do
Rates – How users are billed
Status – Whether a user is active or inactive
Custom Fields – Additional data specific to your firm
Each of these components works together to help you manage your team efficiently.
Best Practices
Assign roles carefully to control access and reduce errors
Set a standard rate for each billable user
Regularly review inactive users to manage access and billing
Use custom fields to track firm-specific information
