If needed, click on the template to make edits, such as updating the amount for future changes in charges.
Save the changes if any, or cancel if not necessary.
Entering Fixed Fees for Clients:
When you need to add a fixed fee for a client, you have two options:
Quick Create Menu:
Access the quick create menu using the plus sign.
Choose "Fixed Fee" from the menu.
Select the client you want to add a fixed fee to by typing their name.
If using a template, choose the appropriate one from the list and click "Create Fixed Fee."
If not using a template, enter the negotiated amount for this specific fixed fee.
Add any additional details, such as the user responsible for this fee.
Click on the option to create the fixed fee.
Matter Area:
Alternatively, if you are within a specific matter, navigate to the fixed fee tab.
Choose to add a fixed fee either from a template or as a one-time entry.
Follow the same steps as described in Option 1 to create the fixed fee.
Reviewing Fixed Fees:
Check the matter management area for the client to see the fixed fee entry.
Verify that the fixed fee is visible under the Fixed Fee tab and marked as not billed.

Fixed fees are captured in the ready-to-bill section along with other billable items.
