Lean Align is a powerful set of features in LeanLaw designed to increase collection rates, boost firm profitability, and reduce Accounts Receivable (A/R). Ready to start getting paid faster?

  • Streamlined Collections: Simplifies the collections process, offering clients a convenient account summary and digital payment link.

  • Effortless Trust Account Management: Automates compliant trust deposits, even when multiple trust accounts are in use.

  • Brand Consistency: Enhances your brand by adding your logo and color palette to email communications and payment links.

This guide walks you through the Confido Legal application so you can access the benefits of Lean Align. Note, you will need an account with Confido Legal that is integrated with your LeanLaw and QuickBooks Online accounts. The below article will walk you through these steps.


Step 1: Log in to Confido Legal and Complete the Firm Information

  • After logging into Confido Legal, navigate to the Application tab.

  • Fill in the required firm information on this page.


Step 2: Enter Personal Information

  • Go to the Personal Information tab.

    • You can either:

      1. Enter ownership information directly into the form.

      2. Or, generate a secure link to send to the firm’s owners or authorized signers. This link lets them enter their details without needing to log in to Confido Legal, ensuring privacy from other team members.


Step 3: Add Bank Account Information

  • In the Bank Account Information tab, link your account by:

    1. Using Plaid for quick and secure connection.

    2. Or, manually uploading your bank documentation if preferred.

Step 4: Submit Your Application

  • Once your application is complete, submit it through the portal.

  • You’ll receive an email with the application and agreement forms for e-signature.


Step 5: Finalize and Start Processing Payments

  • After you e-sign the forms, Confido Legal will notify you by email once your account is ready to process payments.
