It's the end of the billing cycle, and you need to get invoices out to your clients.

Depending on the Time Period selected when filtering invoices, LeanLaw defaults to a predetermined date.

  • All Time/This Month: All time entries for selected Client/Matter are included on the invoice, and dated to the current date. This can be modified by changing the Invoice Date in the Draft Invoice.

  • Last Month (and earlier): All time entries and expenses from the previous month are totaled and dated to the last day of the month. This also applies to the Last Month and earlier option, as the Invoice Date will also be set to the end of the last month.

  • Custom Period: Choosing this option displays a Start and End date input, allowing you to bill for custom periods of time. The invoice will be dated to the end of the most recent month.
