“On the date to the right of QB invoices, right next to emailed or printed, what is that date? And why different colors?”

In QuickBooks Online, that is the due date of the invoice. The colors indicate the following: Black is current, Orange is past due, and Red is really past due!

In QuickBooks Online the Due Date lets clients know when an invoice is due. QuickBooks changes the color of the Due Date based on the status of the unpaid invoice. Black is current, Orange is past due, and Red is over 30 days past due.
